June Kelley Rice, 53, Topeka, died in her sleep of cancer at Midland Care Hospice House November 9th. She was born in California April 18, 1958 but grew up in Topeka. She graduated from Topeka High School in 1976 and later from Hayes Hair Dressing School. Her loves were being a hair stylist for 21 years, cooking, her kitties and gardening. She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Eldon Rice, her mother, Maggie Kelley, sister Mary Kelley Barnett (Bob), step daughter, Lisa Rice (Greg Tyner) and grandson Robert Finley. A celebration of her life will be held Sunday, November 20th at 2:00 pm at Ensley Garden House at Lake Shawnee.
