Johnnie Richard “Piathatha” Razo Jr., 63, of Topeka, Kansas, passed away on May 18, 2021 at his residence in Topeka, Kansas. He was born on January 21, 1958 in Atchison, Kansas the son of Lorene Masqua and Johnnie R. Razo Sr. Johnnie graduated from Topeka High School and then served in the U.S. Air Force. He subsequently obtained employment with the State of Kansas as an inspector of roads and highways. Johnnie loved music, history and hiking trails in Colorado with his son. Johnnie was an accomplished pool player who entered and won many tournaments. He is survived by his father, Johnny Razo Sr.; son, Jesse Razo; one grandson; nine siblings, Tony Razo, Marie Stano, Lori Randall, Laura Razo, Richard Razo, Spencer Razo, Christopher Razo, Lisa Bottom-Finch and Marty Bottom; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lorene Masqua. Native American Church Service will be at 5:00 P.M. on Friday, June 4, 2021 at Wayne Jessepe's home, 165 K-20 Hwy on the Kickapoo Reservation. Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at the Mijissepe Cemetery on the Kickapoo Reservation. A special message may be sent to the family at www.dishon-maple-chaney.com
